Like many moms, we met through our children at school. After several conversations we noticed some glaring similarities, everything from our relationships with our partners and children, to how other people perceived us as moms. How many times do you talk to another mom, and you find yourself saying, "Oh my god! Me too!" We call this a "me too moment." A moment when you realize you are not alone.
You are not the only one who hasn't showered in three days. You are not the only one scared to talk to your pre-teen about life. You are not the only one feeling mom guilt about missing your child's solo in the school play. You are not the only one forgetting that you are many things, not just a mom. We want to turn these seemingly negative conversations into positives.
We want a weekend full of learning, connection, and fun with other moms. We are craving to educate ourselves about our continually changing role as a mom. Let this conference do what it is supposed to do- empower, inspire, and support you. And let that extend into all facets of your life.
How many "me too moments" will you have?
